Best Self-Expelling Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

We recommend purchasing a robotic mop and a vacuum that comes with a user-friendly base station. This allows you to wash or replace cleaning pads as well as empty and clean the water tank.

Think about a device with Wi-Fi connectivity to map your home and set up automated/set runtimes. You can also utilize features like vacuum switch or mop.

1. Roborock S7 Max Ultra

This powerful robot vacuum and mop performs a lot of work. It cleans your floors, recognizes rugs, and self-empties its own dustbin and water tanks.  self emptying robot vacuums  has a powerful suction and can even dispense detergent. All of this functionality comes with a price tag of $1200. It's also the most expensive robot mop and vacuum package I've ever reviewed.

In the box The S7 Max Ultra is very simple to install. After plugging it into the outlet, it will prompt you to create a map of your home using sensors and will continue to use this information to stay clear of obstacles. In our testing, it avoided getting stuck on power cords, long curtains and even dog toys. It isn't perfect though and occasionally encountered obstacles like tangled wires or some odd book or toy.

The S7 Max Ultra can be controlled by its smartphone app. This is where you can find all the sophisticated features that set it apart from other robot vacuums and mop cleaners. They include specific room-specific cleaning and mopping settings, a scheduling planner mopping and vacuuming ranges, as well as integrations with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for smart home integration. The extensive features set means that the S7 Max Ultra can do almost everything a traditional robot vacuum does, but at less than half the price.

The S7 Max Ultra vacuuming is remarkable. It did a great job at removing pet fur, dirt, and other debris on hard floors and carpets. The automatic emptying feature of the dustbin was flawless in our tests. This was reassuring. It also boasts 5100 Pa HyperForce power which is significantly greater than the 2,500Pa power of the S6MaxV and S7.

The S7 Max Ultra's mopping capabilities was excellent, but not the best we've seen. It employed microfiber mops that absorb liquids, and sonic vibration technology to scrub floors as high as 3,000 revolutions per minutes. This was faster than the X1 Omni circular pads, which rotate at 180 rotations per minute. The S7 Max Ultra's ReactiveAI 2.0 obstacle recognition system was extremely good. During our testing, it didn't get stuck on any objects and it steered clear of power cords long curtains, power cords and other obstacles of the time.

2. Narwal Freo

It is an activity that is hated by many, but it is essential to keep your home clean. It's also a messy and oftentimes smelly job, and can be difficult to accomplish since it requires handling dirty water and dustbins, and ensuring that hair or debris doesn't block the traps or brushes. That is why mopping and vacuuming machines are becoming so popular. Many of these devices require you to empty the dustbin, and wash and rinse the mop pads manually. This can be a hassle particularly if you have to do this repeatedly in between cleaning sessions. We're happy to hear that certain manufacturers are introducing self emptying robots to make this process much more simple.

The Narwal Freo, the newest version of the robotic cleaners is equipped with a variety of improvements in sensors, software and hardware designed to keep it at the top of its game. The patented DirtSense Technology and Smart-Swing feature both work together to better recognize the surface being cleaned and then automatically alter the cleaning mode according to the floor type. The Freo also monitors the level of dirtiness and automatically washes mops when they are full, which increases the efficiency of subsequent cleaning sessions by preventing returning to areas that are soiled.

The Freo is also a step forward over its predecessor in that it is controlled directly via the touchscreen LCD at its base station. This is in addition to the app for smartphones. This is the first robot vacuum and mop combination to have this feature. It's a great feature for those who don't wish to use the app. You can even adjust the routing in the middle of the session by using the LCD screen controls.

The Narwal Freo also does a decent job of keeping its noise level down when it is working, coming in at only 63dB while in suction mode. The Freo's maintenance is not completely hands-free however. It is necessary to clean the primary brush roll and the side brushes regularly.

3. Ecovacs Deebot t9+

The Ecovacs Deebot T9+ (available at The Good Guys for $1279) is one of the most efficient self-emptying robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It is capable of mapping the area of your home, vacuuming and mopping, as well as detecting and avoiding obstacles. It can even spray an air freshener.

The app creates a digital map of your home which you can use to clean. It's simple to install. The app lets you choose certain rooms or areas to be cleaned. You can also select the time you would like to begin cleaning so that your floors are cleaned while you are asleep or away.

In our tests during our tests, the T9+ was awe-inspiring when it came to navigating obstacles. However, it did have an inclination to take a few errands around the house, which usually meant that it ended up back at the same spot it started cleaning just a few minutes earlier. It didn't happen very often however enough to be noticed.

The T9+ comes with a selection of accessories like the robot cleaner, docking-station and an automatic-emptying station. The mopping module and an additional dust bin are available separately.

Its enhanced navigation systems mapping, obstacle detection and mapping are designed to ensure a spotless clean of your home without interruptions. The upgraded 3D detection and obstacle avoidance technology detects objects with high-precision resolutions to prevent collisions and entanglements, or even disruptions.

The Deebot T9+ is capable of sweeping, vacuuming and mopping all at once, leaving your floor looking fresh as new. The disposable mopping pads are simple to put on and the microfiber fabric effectively traps dust, blocks off stains and does not leave any residue. The large 2.5L auto-empty stations are able to hold up to 30 days worth of debris, and not leak. This makes it simple to keep the home clean with minimal effort. 4. iRobot Combo j7+

The iRobot Combo j7+ is a great robot to clean floors. It's a mop and vacuum all in one and it also has obstacle avoidance and home navigation. It can identify your home and clean areas without smacking into furniture or walls. The app allows you to set up zones to indicate areas that require to be cleaned as well as areas that you don't wish to clean. You can also set boundaries for no-mop and non-sweep zones.

iRobot’s iAdapt technology 2.0 is a major part of what makes Combo j7+ smart. This uses the front camera which is located on top of the majority of its robots. It can identify hazards, such as pet waste or power cords and to avoid them. iAdapt 2.0 also allows the Combo j7+ robot to determine dirt levels and focus more specifically on areas of dirt.

When the Combo j7+ detects that it's on a surface that needs to be cleaned, a little robot arm with mop pads lifts from under the vacuum. It then scrubs the floor until the mopping pad is dry which takes just 90 seconds.

The Combo J7+ is able to sense carpeting, too. This is great for homes with carpeting and carpets. It won't attempt to get through the rug, though it will instead turn away if it thinks it won't be able to get over the area without damaging it or the carpeting.

I was able to control the Combo J7+ using the mobile app, which is very intuitive and well designed. It is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa which means you can start cleaning with voice. The only issue I encountered was that the Combo j7+'s tiny water tank means you'll need to refill it often or limit the mopping to smaller areas and run it in eco-mode more frequently.

The Combo j7+ has an extremely small dust bin that you must empty manually. The Combo mop pads were also less effective than other brands. This is a shame as this robot is otherwise excellent.
